In Malawi, many families live with the uncertainty of extreme weather. Floods, tropical storms, droughts, and prolonged dry spells regularly destroy homes, wash away crops, and leave thousands of people struggling to rebuild their lives. For families already living in poverty, one disaster can erase everything they own.
In recent years, devastating climate-related disasters such as Cyclones Idai and Freddy caused widespread destruction across Malawi, displacing hundreds of thousands of people and causing hundreds of millions of dollars in damage. Successive floods and droughts continue to threaten food security, livelihoods, and the safety of vulnerable communities.
A warm blanket. A dry mattress. A repaired roof. Emergency food. Clean clothing. These may seem like simple things, but after disaster strikes they become lifelines that restore safety, dignity, and hope. Through the generosity of our supporters, Divine Ministries seeks to respond quickly when families need help the most.
Many elderly men and women live with very little support. Some lack food, warm clothing, bedding, or someone to check on them.
Serving the elderly is not only about meeting physical needs. It is about restoring dignity and reminding them that they are not forgotten.
Divine Ministries believes that people need both practical help and spiritual hope. We serve physical needs while also sharing the greatest gift of all — the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Through schools, youth groups, churches, and community visits, we bring encouragement, prayer, and the message of salvation.
We cannot reach every family alone. But with the help of people who choose to care, more children can be supported, more families can be fed, more elderly people can be cared for, and more communities can receive hope.
